Creating F& B Quick Sale buttons in POS Express

Quick Sale buttons (QSB) are created inside the F&B module not in Options like the Sales screen QSB are.

The main difference between the two setups is that you have many categories or pages to use at the top of the screen whereas in the Sales setup you only have four.

To navigate to the Quick Sale Button Setup screen

  1. Open the F&B module. The Table View displays.

  2. At the bottom of the screen select the Settings button. A panel displays to the left.

  3. Select Quick Sale Button Setup under Order. The screen displays where you create the buttons.

Note: It's going to look almost exactly the same as the Sales QSB creation screen.

To create a page or a category for your buttons

Once you are in the Quick Sale Button Setup screen, do the following to create a pageClosed or a category to group your buttons together to save space and make it easier for the staff to find your products. You can create buttons here at this top-level page if needed.

Tip: At the top of the screen you have a lot of pages available to you and you can add more pages if needed by using the New Page button.

  1. Click the New Page button to add a category page. The Quick Sale Page Setup pop-up dialog displays.

  2. Do one of the following to format or style the Page buttons:

  • Type in a name into the Label field, and if desired, change the text color by selecting the Fore Color button and to change the color of the button select the Back Color.

-OR-

  • Click the ellipsis button [...] to the right of the Image field and select an image for this page.

Note: You cannot have both an image and a label/color. But you can have an image that contains a text label on it to get around this.

BEST PRACTICE: Go easy on adding images to your buttons, they can be misleading due to the size.
