How to add a tip prompt for the Lane 3000 device
In the 3.104 release, you can add a tip prompt using the Lane 3000.
The Prompt Tip option must be enabled on the profile side in the new Credit Card module, CCMv4.
To enable the tip prompt on the profile side
A support agent must set up a profile for the terminal in your credit card module.
Once this is done, you can start immediately using the device-terminal as follows:
To apply the tip on the Lane 3000 device

Finalize the sale of the item(s) in the Club Prophet software.

Select Payment by credit card.

On the device, tap or insert the card. A prompt displays stating: “Processing. Please wait. Do not remove card.

When you see the prompt stating, “Please remove card,” – remove the card. PROCESSING and then APPROVED display on the Lane 3000.

After the triPOS screen, a tip prompt displays, and you can add the tip using the keypad on the device.

Press the Enter key on the device. The triPOS screen displays, and the transaction is finished.
