Setting up Auto Logout in CPS Air

This option is for auto log off after xx seconds. When this is checked and the CPS Air app has not been used for xx seconds the PIN screen is displayed. This works like the time out feature in F&B.

In your CPS terminal, do the following to set the amount of time before Auto Log Off engages:

  1. In Tools | Options, go to Reference Tables | Terminal Information. The Terminal Information screen displays to the right with a list of terminals if you have them set up. If you are setting up a terminal for the first time or you need your iPad set up as a terminal, contact the Club Prophet Support Team.

  2. Double-click the terminal set up for your iPad which is using CPS Air. The terminal information for your iPad displays under the Terminal Setting tab with an iOS Settings tab to the right of that. 1. Type in or select using the up arrow the time in seconds that you want to pass before you get logged off. Note: The limit is 999 seconds.

  2. Click Save at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Close Options.

Note: If you have just added a template for the course from the Starter Hut on your local-terminal's POSExpress, before this new option becomes available, you may have to re-connect your iPad. How?ClosedSelect the menu | Connected | Connect

Note: The iPad may also have settings for it to Auto-Lock after so much time making your screen dim and causing you to enter your PIN again. This feature is apart of your iPad and will have to be set also because it overrides the Auto Log Off feature in CPS Air.
